Features:
- full player uniform;
- U7 & U8 players receive soccer balls
- U9 to U12 coaches will receive soccer balls for the team
- U7 to U12 programs are 14 weeks
- Shinpads are mandatory; cleats are optional but recommended (NO jewellery)

- Please note: games are played on Statutory holidays such as Victoria Day, Canada and the Civic holiday

In the case of rain, please check the Home page for field closures which are posted as soon as possible. If the field status is OPEN, referees will make the decision at game time.
Friend Requests
Whitby FC will attempt to accommodate direct friend requests ONLY. In order to get team lists completed early, no friend requests will be accepted after April 15. One friend request only. Requests for specific coaches are not accepted.

*Processing fees will apply for all online registrations. Requests for refunds will only be considered prior to the first day of the season and subject to $35 administrative fee. After the start of the season, refunds are processed due to medical reasons (doctor's note must be submitted).

SportsEngine
The Club uses SportsEngine to communicate to players. Please remember to periodically check your SportsEngine email box for any updates. Once team lists have been completed, registered players have access to the roster and team schedule via their team page accessible using your SportsEngine account (login and click MY TEAMS).
Volunteer Coaches
We need volunteer coaches for our U7-U18 recreational league. If you are able to volunteer your time, please complete the online Coach volunteer form. Thank you!
Whitby FC will provide a $100 coach rebate towards the Indoor 2023-24 season or the Outdoor 2024 season. The rebate is available to head coaches only.
Game Sheets
All U7-U18 games will have an assigned match official. The HOME team COACH is responsible for providing the game sheet to the referee.
STEPS for Coaches to print game sheet from a desktop (using Google Chrome):

Login to your SportsEngine account (top right-hand corner of the website)

Select “GO TO TEAM PAGE” (bottom left) TURN on EDIT mode (on left side)

Scroll down and select “GAME SCHEDULE” SELECT your game day (from the white calendar on the page)

Click the gear wheel on the right-hand side of the bright yellow construction bar

Select first option on the drop-down menu “PRE” Print (or CTRL-P) and choose landscape layout
Just a friendly reminder ...
Parents / spectators sit on the opposite side of the field from the coaches and players. Parents should cheer for all of the players on the field, not just their own. Parents / spectators are not permitted to sit near the corners, the goal line or the goal.
Respect in Sport
The Durham Region Soccer Association is proud to be taking a leadership role in protecting the best interests of kids, and all those involved in our game, by introducing the Respect in Sport Parent Program to our organization. As the first District Association within Ontario Soccer to be taking this important step, following the lead of the Ontario Minor Hockey Association and other sports organizations in Ontario Durham Region Soccer Association is making the Respect in Sport Parent Program mandatory for one parent or guardian of each player for 2017 to complete the program. The program is transferable from hockey or any other sport it was completed for, and covers the entire family. Please help us to help you make soccer safe and fun for all participants.
